The Greatest Generation

“The Greatest Generation” is a term coined by journalist Tom Brokaw to describe the generation who grew up in the United States during the deprivation of the Great Depression, and then went on to fight in World War II, as well as those whose productivity on the home from made a decisive material contribution to the war effort.

This year, our youth asked to honor this generation at our annual Valentine’s Banquet youth fundraiser. So we’re having a “1940’s on Coney Island” theme. Join us for worship on Sunday, February 16th, then come downstairs to the Fellowship Hall for the meal!
